Each treatment may require specific pre-treatment care. In these instances you will be informed of special instructions by your spa service provider.

When should I arrive?

You should arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before your appointment time. Allow yourself time to relax, have a cup of Aveda comforting tea, and prepare for your treatment. We always recommend having a spa service on a day where you can go straight home, relax and enjoy how you feel.

What do I need to do after my spa treatment?

As a general rule, you should drink lots of water after a spa treatment in order to realize the full benefits of your treatment. Again, as spa treatments are varied, what you should do after your treatment depends on the specific services you received. Your spa service provider will instruct you on specific after-care for the treatments you received.

I am under medical supervision and currently under treatment. What treatments are okay for me and which ones are not?

Your physician's guidance is the best to go with here. Decide which treatments you are interested in, and then consult your physician to determine if the treatment is acceptable with your current medical program.

I am currently pregnant. Which treatments are definitely not good for me?

As with all medical conditions, check with your doctor prior to receiving any spa or related treatment. Generally, it is not recommended that Body Wrap or any treatments that produce excessive body heat are deemed inappropriate for pregnant women. We suggest a facial, pregnancy massage, pedicure or manicure. Also, Stress Relieving Scalp Treatment and Puresciptions Hair treatments are excellent choices.

I have never had a Spa treatment. What treatment do you recommend for a first time Spa goers?

When embarking on any new activity, I always say its best to start with the basics. We recommend a serenity facial or a 60 minute massage, both are an excellent way to begin, what is sure to become a regular activity.

In life, there are no quick fixes. It is all the little things that you do that will affect your well being and appearance. Take time out to create your own beauty rituals. Massages and facials not only keep you looking great, but also you will feel cared for and pampered, something that is vital to your overall wellness & beauty.
